These workshops are for cisgender women over the age of 25 who have experienced sexual violence at any point in their lives and are currently feeling steady enough to join a group setting. They are not for people in immediate crisis, but for those who are ready for something gentle and creative.
No. You can sign up yourself by completing our self-referral application form on the website.
If you’re unsure, that’s completely fine. You can get in touch via the contact form for a quick, informal chat and we can talk it through together.
Our workshops are for women who have experienced any form of sexual violence or unwanted sexual experiences at any point in their lives from childhood onwards. This includes experiences where consent was not given, respected, or felt possible, in any relationship or situation. If something sexual happened that left you feeling unsafe, uncomfortable, pressured, or violated, these workshops are for you.
As a small group of 12 women, we’ll usually spend time working with flowers, doing simple guided floristry activities, and offering optional calming or reflective exercises. There’s no pressure to share anything personal. Lunch and refreshments are provided as well as all materials required.
No, this isn’t therapy. These are wellbeing workshops, not clinical sessions. They’re designed to be gentle, creative spaces using floristry and simple wellbeing practices to aid in ongoing recovery.
Not at all. You’re never expected to share your story. You can simply take part in the activities, or just sit and observe if that feels better. Of course if you feel that you connect with others in the workshop you can continue the connection outside of the day.
Yes. The sessions are run in a trauma-informed way, which means we focus on choice, safety, respect, and going at your pace.
We do our best to keep things calm and non-triggering. If anything sensitive comes up, it will be handled gently. You can step out, take a break, or leave at any time.
Yes, we treat anything you share with care and respect. The only exception is if we are worried about someone’s immediate safety, in which case we may need to involve support services.
Yes, of course. You can pause, take a break, or leave whenever you need to – no explanation needed.
These workshops aren’t designed for people in immediate crisis.
No, all workshops are completely free. You are very welcome to make a donation if you'd like to but there is no expectation to do so.
We choose spaces that feel calm, safe, and easy to access wherever possible. Once your application has been approved and we have confirmed the date with you, you will be informed of the location which should remain confidential for the privacy and safety of all participants. The workshops will take place in Cambridgeshire.
Yes, of course. There are no geographic limitations for women wishing to apply to join a workshop as this is not a service run by a local authority.
We aim to make sessions as accessible as we can. If you have any access needs, just let us know and we’ll do our best to support you.
We can only accommodate women who are eligible for the free service and who have applied via the self-referral process.
Facilitators are there throughout the workshop. You can ask for support at any time, take breaks, or step out if you need space.
We offer a place at a single workshop but you are welcome to join the waiting lists for future workshops. Our focus is on reaching as many women as possible so we can only offer a single place initially and further spaces will depend on demand. If you’d like, we can share information about other support options.
We only use your information to help run the workshops safely and smoothly. It is stored securely and handled according to UK data protection laws.
We take privacy seriously. We look for spaces where sessions won’t be overheard or disrupted, and we agree clear arrangements with partners to protect confidentiality.
